The new-and-improved 5-piece Stage Custom Birch Pure White shell set by Yamaha features all kinds of new technology for serious beginners and advanced players alike. The Stage Custom Birch set is equipped with a number of enhancements including rounded bearing edges for more contact with the head, resulting in a bigger sound. The mounting system for the lugs also ensures better resonance.

Sound interference

The toms in this shell set are suspended with the help of Yamaha's Y.E.S.S. system, which is a special tom holder that retains the unique tone of the drum.
